Keep it. Only 11% of app users mainly use it to discover new places; 42% are reordering from shops they already know.18 Keep Uber for strangers, move your regulars. Nothing in Uber's merchant terms stops you charging less on your own site.14 Honest caveat: pick-up orders on Uber are only 6%, so the money is in delivery orders.1
You already do, on the phone orders. Your site works the same way. Three modes, all in Settings, switch them any time.
It is built so an outage costs you an order, not a night.

Your own ordering site, your own Stripe, orders on your phone. Live in 7 days. Everything below is included for shops that start this month.
Month to month. The monthly starts the day your site goes live, not before. Cancel from the panel. No contract, no commission, no per-order fee.
8 orders x $12 commission on a $40 pizza = $96. The other 190-odd orders that month, you keep. Year one costs $1,287. The same 50 orders a week cost $31,200 on Uber.1
Don't like the site before it goes live? You pay nothing beyond the $99 and we hand you the files anyway.
Use the stickers and inserts for 60 days. Under 12 direct orders? Every monthly fee refunded and we keep building free until it works.
We get the flat $99 whether you do 20 orders or 2,000. If this did not work for shops we would have no business.
We cannot promise your Uber customers switch. We can promise every order that does costs you 2.5% instead of 30%, and we showed you the arithmetic.
Every build is set up and tested by a person on a Stripe call with you, so we take 12 new shops a month. 12 of 12 left for this month. The bonuses above are included for shops that start this month; after that they become paid add-ons. Uber's Lite plan went from 15% to 20% in March 2026.23 Fees only go one way.
Every figure on this page is from a published source, most of them Uber's own pages, checked 2 September 2026. Worked examples assume a 30% plan, a 15% app markup where shown, a 10% service fee capped at $4, a $4.99 delivery fee, and Stripe's 1.7% + 30c. Delivery on your own site is whatever you already charge, so it is left out of the shop comparison.
